Master of Arts in English
Programme Description
The Master of Arts in English Language and Literature at University of Mpumalanga will enable students to further their studies and conduct independent research in areas of their own interest. In this programme, which involves writing a dissertation, students are guided and supported by assigned, highly qualified supervisors in the fields of English Literature and English Language.
Areas of research will be determined by staff areas of expertise and the interests of the students. The Master of Arts degree in English Language and Literature is a one-year qualification (full time) or two-year qualification (part time) with a total credit of 180.
Admission Requirements
- Hold an Honours degree in English with an average of 65%
- Achieve an average of at least 65% for the Honours research report
