2026 REGISTRATION
Admitted new and returning students registering for a fixed curriculum programme, may register ONLINE from the comfort of your own home, for which you may use a handheld device or computer facility at your disposal. You will access the registration website via the link:
https://ienabler.ump.ac.za/pls/prodi41/w99pkg.mi_login, then log in using your student number and user pin.
REGISTRATION DATES
First Year Students
Admitted new first year students can register as follows:
- Online registration: 02 January – 30 January 2026.
- In-person registration (On Campus): 26 January – 30 January 2026.
Returning Undergraduate Students
Returning students who do not have outstanding modules and are financially cleared can register from:
- Online registration: 02 January – 06 February 2026.
- In-person registration (Campus): 02 February - 06 February 2026.
Postgraduate Students
Advanced Diplomas, Postgraduate Diplomas and Honours Degrees registration will commence from 02 January to 06 February 2026.
Postgraduate Registration (Masters and PhDs)
02 January - 30 April 2026.
INFORMATION FOR NEW STUDENT
Admitted first year students need to register within the specified registration period as space is limited. Should all available spaces for new students be filled before the end of the registration period, registration for the specific programme will be closed. Registration will be on a 'first-come-first-served' basis. Therefore, acceptance into a programme does not guarantee enrolment.

New Students Orientation Week: 02 February - 06 February 2026
Postgraduate Orientation 04 May – 08 May 2026 (Masters and Doctoral Students)
Lectures start: 09 February 2026
Late Registration: 16 February - 27 February 2026
Arrival in residences
First year students’ arrival in residences: 25 January 2026 Returning students arrival in residences: 01 February 2026
Second Semester Registration
20 July 2026 – 31 July 2026
IN ORDER TO REGISTER ONLINE, NEW STUDENTS WILL NEED TO HAVE: SOUTH AFRICAN STUDENTS
- Paid the minimum initial deposit due prior to registration and be financially cleared
- Uploaded all required documentation on the student portal under certificates seen - (ID, matric/senior certificate, academic record with statement of conduct)
- Received admission letter from Student Admissions confirming firm offer based on the final matric results.
INTERNATIONAL STUDENTS
In terms of the Immigration Act, international students must provide:
- Certified copy of passport
- A valid Study Permit
- Medical aid cover letter
- Police clearance
- SAQA certificate
- Admission letter
- Proof of initial payment or confirmation letter from sponsor.
- International students must pay 50% of their tuition fee before registration.
CELLPHONE NUMBERS AND EMAIL ADDRESSES
If you have changed your cellphone number, please ensure that you have updated it on the student portal. It is strongly advised that you used the UMP student email address for correspondence. This information can be updated on iEnabler under “Personal Contact Detail”.
STUDENT FINANCE

It is important to note that acceptance offer does not include financial assistance from UMP, you need to arrange for funding from outside the University or National Student Financial Aid Scheme (NSFAS) at

STUDENT CARDS
Student cards will be processed and collected after you have registered from the Security Service Offices on the campus that you will be studying at. Proof of Registration will need to be produced.
