Great news! You can now apply to study Portuguese at the University of Mpumalanga Mbombela Campus. The institution will offer Short Learning Portuguese Programmes to all South Africans or foreigners as from next month, September. Classes will be run in the evenings and resumes on 02 and 03rd of September until 9th and 10th of December 2019.
If you want to register for Portuguese Level 1
Below are the requirements:
• The duration of the course is 60 hours.
• It will take you 16 weeks to finish Level 1.
• You will need 1,5 hours face-to-face and 6,5 hours for online learning.
If you want to register for Portuguese Level 2
Below are the requirements:
• You must have completed Level 1.
• Be assessed for RPL and found that you are at the correct Level.
• The duration of the course is 60 hours.
• It will take you 16 weeks to finish Level.
• It will take you one hour 30 minutes for a face-to-face with a lecturer and 6,5 hours for online learning.
Requirements
• You must have access to Internet for the online learning.
• Must attend minimum of 80% face-to-face classes.
• Assessment will include written and oral assessment.
• Assignments must be handed in on time.
• To be deemed competent the assessment must be passed with 60% and above.
The cost of each Level is R5 500 payable before the beginning of each programme. Registrations for Level 1 or 2 close on the 28th of August 2019. Start applying. Space is filling up fast.
