It’s a new dawn as the University of Mpumalanga inaugurates the 2021 Student Representative Council with the first female president, Ms Vuyelwa Carol Magagula, at the helm. The third year Bachelor of Development Studies student who hails from Middelburg in Mpumalanga was elected in November 2020.

The University of Mpumalanga bid farewell to the 2020 SRC/CRC leadership at a glorious affair where COVID-19 Safety Regulations were observed. The Vice-Chancellor Professor Thoko Mayekiso commended the student leadership for pulling through at a time when the county was in despair as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic that swept through the world.
