Dear Students,

As you prepare to embark on your final examinations starting on the 3rd of November, I wish to take this moment to extend my heartfelt encouragement and support to each and every one of you. This period marks a significant milestone in your academic journey, and I commend you for the dedication, resilience, and hard work that has brought you to this point. Examinations are not merely a test of memory, but a reflection of your growth, understanding, and commitment to your studies. They are an opportunity to demonstrate the knowledge and skills you have acquired throughout the semester. I urge you to approach them with confidence, clarity, and a calm mind. Remember, you are capable, prepared, and deserving of success.

I understand that this time can be stressful, and it is natural to feel anxious. However, I encourage you to take care of your well-being. Rest adequately, eat nourishing meals, and take short breaks to refresh your mind. Balance is key. Your health, both mental and physical, is essential to your performance and long-term success. Let this exam season also be a time to reflect on your journey.

I also extend my gratitude to our lecturers, tutors, and support staff who have worked tirelessly to prepare you for this moment. Their commitment to your success is unwavering, and their efforts are deeply appreciated.

On behalf of the entire University of Mpumalanga leadership, I wish you all the very best. May your efforts be rewarded, and may you emerge from this season stronger, wiser, and ready for the next step.

Warm regards,
Prof Thenjiwe Meyiwa
