Mrs Sophy "NoSinki" Mahlangu, a renowned Ndebele art custodian gifted the Vice-Chancellor (VC) of UMP, Prof Thoko Mayekiso with two Ndebele canvases and a special collection blanket in recognition of her contribution in developing UMP and isiNdebele. One of the canvases gifted to the VC is a painted canvas, while the other is beaded with Ndebele styles.
